About Hell Is for Heroes
Hell Is for Heroes is an English alternative rock band formed in 2001 in London. Originally, the band was made up of Justin Schlosberg (vocals/ guitar), Joe Birch (guitar/ vocals), Dan Donnelly (guitar/ vocals) and David Blackwell (bass/backing vocals). drummer Will Bremner joined the band in 2003. The band's debut album, The Neon Handshake, released in 2002, charted within the UK album chart and was nominated for a Kerrang! award. Hell Is for Heroes achieved critical success in the UK and throughout Europe with their second studio album, 2006's Transmit Disrupt and its single, "I Can Climb Mountains". The band went on hiatus for several years, releasing their third and final album, The Peaceful Dead, in 2011. Hell Is for Heroes' rock-focused sound, featuring passion-filled lyrical topics, gained traction among the rock community throughout an impressive decade-long career.
