About JLS

JLS are a British R&B boy band consisting of members Aston Merrygold, JB Gill, Marvin Humes and Oritsé Williams. They originally formed in 2006 as part of the UK television show The X Factor, finishing second. After leaving the show, the group released their debut single 'Beat Again' in July 2009 and their self-titled debut album a month later, both of which went to number one in the UK. Over the course of their career, JLS have consistently made it into the top ten in the UK Singles Chart and UK Albums Chart. They have come away with several awards, including two Brit Awards and fourMOBO Awards. The group split in 2013 after releasing their fifth studio album, but reunited in 2018 for a special tour.
