John Daly is an Irish musician and songwriter living in Belfast. He is best known for his self-produced Americana folk rock music, which is heavily influenced by traditional Irish, Scottish and English folk music. Daly is known for having a unique voice as well as his deeply personal, heartfelt lyrics. He has released 6 albums, including 'Love In Red' in 2005, 'Stay All Night' in 2009, 'Where Rivers Don't Run' in 2011, and most recently, 'Met Toonery and Hope' in 2017. His career has also involved touring extensively around Europe, and he has made appearances on many radio and television shows, including BBC's Jools Holland Hootenanny. Daly is passionate about performing live, and his live performances are known for being emotionally charged and full of energy.
