About Laura Van Dam
Laura Van Dam is an emerging Dutch vocalist, composer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from The Hague, Netherlands. Her style combines a range of genres, blending influences from jazz, soul, classical music and folk. She has released several critically acclaimed albums both as a solo artist and collaboratively, such as "Anomalie" (2018), "Off Course" (2020) and "Beneath the Mist" (2020).
Van Dam started her career as a classical soprano, but her ambition led her to ever broader and more varied musical expressions. Her dedication has yielded numerous awards, including the prestigious Paapje van Tichelaar Award in 2019. She has collaborated with artists from all around the world, as well as renowned Dutch music imprints such as ADM and Velvet Muziek.
