Loose End is a British soul and jazz-funk group who were active from 1978 to 1985. Formed by guitarist and vocalist Steve Salvari, Loose End released five studio albums and five singles. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1979 and featured a mix of jazz-funk, soul and British pop.

The group built a strong fan base in the UK with their unique sound and debut single “Choose Me” which became a top 10 hit in the UK singles chart. Their subsequent albums, "A Little Spice" (1980) and "One Way Street" (1981) were also successful.Throughout the early 80s, Loose End toured extensively throughout Europe, playing venues such as Wembley Arena in London.

The band's biggest success came with their fourth album, "Gathering Strands" (1982), which featured the singles "Gonna Cut Loose", "Letting Go" and "Hanging On
