Mellow Mood is a reggae band from Italy. Formed in 2005, the band consists of brothers Jacopo and Franco Frongia. The brothers focus on the roots of reggae music and infuse it with a soulful, more contemporary sound. Their signature style is heavily influenced by 1960s Jamaican ska, rocksteady and dub. Mellow Mood has released five studio albums since 2007. In 2011, their album “Move!” topped the Billboard's reggae chart and earned them an Italian Golden Lion award. The band has toured in various countries from United States to Mexico, Brazil, and Europe. They have won several awards and continue to produce and perform music from their roots-reggae style.
