MGMT is an electropop duo based in Brooklyn, New York and formed in 2002. The two members, Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden met while at Wesleyan University and released their first album 'Oracular Spectacular' in 2007. The album hit gold status making them an overnight sensation and from then on they have been pumping out hit after hit. Their unique and catchy style combines aspects of rock, dance, electro and psychedelic music, with surreal imagery and instrumental experiments. With four full length albums under their belt, including their most recent 'Little Dark Age' released in 2018, MGMT have toured extensively around the world, performing their cult classics to massive live audiences.
