Michelle David & The True-Tones is a powerhouse soul/gospel collective based out of Amsterdam. Led by vocalist Michelle David, the group blends old-school R&B and funk melodies with rich gospel harmonies and uplifting lyrics. The True-Tones are a 10-piece band that features full backing vocals, strings, organ and horn sections. They have released two albums 'Essential Life' (2014) and 'My People' (2017), and have toured extensively throughout Europe and Japan. They have also collaborated with acts such as Tom Misch, Paradise and Patti Smith. Their powerful live performances have earned them a devout fanbase around the world.
