Mike Dehnert is an electronic music producer and DJ based in Germany. He studied and performed classical piano before turning his attention to electronic music production in 2000. Dehnert has released music on well-known labels such as Fachwerk, Claque Musique and Delsin Records, as well as on his own imprint, Deeply Rooted House. His music often pairs tricky, hypnotic techno beats with lush synth sounds, and he has also released ambient and experimental works. Mike Dehnert is a touring DJ and frequent collaborator, and has played key venues and festivals all over Europe and the US. He has also received critical acclaim for his live sets, characterized by a mix of acerbic techno and minimal house.
