Mike Pickering tickets

Mike Pickering is a British DJ and producer who has been a part of the electronic music scene for over 30 years. His career began in the early 1980s when he was the head of Factory Records’ house music arm, Quango. During this time, he released his own productions as well as helping to shape the sound of Manchester’s acid house and rave culture. In the 1990s, Pickering moved into the world of compilations, producing an array of critically acclaimed mixes for labels like Sony, Jive, Virgin and Ministry of Sound. He now runs the label Tirk, which specializes in reissues of classic and undiscovered cuts. Pickering also runs the long-running Manchester night club Hacienda Classical which is dedicated to the acid house sound.
