Nala Brown is an American music artist and singer-songwriter residing in New York City. Brown began her musical career in 2010, performing at local events and venues. She then began working on her debut album in 2012, which was released in 2015. It featured a range of pop, R&B, and soul sounds that earned Nala widespread acclaim, as well as numerous awards in the indie music scene. Her second and third studio albums were released in 2019 and 2020, and included collaborations with several other artists as well as Brown's original compositions. Her music has featured in commercials and on soundtracks, and she has toured internationally with some of the major names in music. She is currently working on a new album and performing shows in select cities.
