Obongjayar is a Nigerian-born artist living and working in London. He fuses musical elements from different cultures - from traditional Nigerian rhythms to UK grime - to create a unique sound. He has released two albums to date - his debut 'Debut EP' in 2017 and his first full-length album 'Which Way Is Forward?' in 2019, with both being highly acclaimed. Songs such as 'Never Change' and 'Creepin’ have got heavy radio play both in the UK and abroad. Obongjayar's live performances have also made him stand out, as he takes traditional Nigerian songs and transforms them with his own influences, fusing genres and winning him fans all over the world.
