Oneohtrix Point Never is an American experimental musician, producer, and composer from Massachusetts. They create music which incorporates elements of ambient, electro-acoustic, and industrial noise. They have released nine albums, beginning with Betrayed in The Octagon in 2008 and most recently, Magic Oneohtrix Point Never, in 2020. In addition to what they record, which predominantly consists of instrumental music, Oneohtrix Point Never has also produced soundtracks for video games, like Watch Dogs and heist film Good Time, and collaborated with Marissa Nadler, Anohni, and Prurient. They have been lauded as a pioneer of the modern “synthwave” resurgence.
