Owen Campbell is an Australian blues and roots singer, songwriter, and musician. He was born in Gerringong, New South Wales, in 1991 and began playing the guitar at the age of 11. His talent was quickly noticed, and he became a professional performing musician by the age of 15. Campbell's songwriting combines classic blues and modern influences, and he has released two full-length albums, The First of Many (2012) and Fighting Fire (2019). His song "Sunshine Road" won the triple j Unearthed Blues & Roots competition in 2011. In addition to his solo albums, he has released a live album and an EP. Campbell has toured throughout Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada, Europe, and the UK. His most recent work was released in 2019, a twelve-track instrumental album called I Saw Red.
