PlanB, otherwise known as Ben Drew, is an English hip-hop artist, songwriter, actor and director. He rose to fame with the release of his debut album The Defamation of Strickland Banks (2010), which charted in the Top 10 of the UK Albums Chart. His album Ill Manors (2012) was inspired by his own experiences living in Forest Gate, East London, and provided the soundtrack for the film of the same name. It earned PlanB a BRIT Award for Best British Album.

PlanB has released a further two studio albums, Heaven Before All Hell Breaks Loose (2018) and After Orwell (2020), as well as several EPs and mixtapes. He has had success as an actor, with lead roles in the Urban Hymn (2015) and the Stuart: A Life Backwards (2007).
