Rainer Trüby is a German musician and producer, well known as an innovator in the Afro-inspired jazz sounds of the late 90s and early 2000s. He is known as one of the pioneers of the broken beat scene which blends global sounds with jazz and funk. Trüby began his career in 1995 with his outfit, Rainer Trüby Trio, and since then, has worked as a solo artist and in conjunction with his band. His latest release, 'Berlin Shuffle', was released in 2014 which featured guest collaborations from DJs and producers like Kabuki. He is well know for mixing genres such as acid jazz, house and broken beat. His most acclaimed work is the 2002 album 'Garden of Earthly Delights' which received worldwide attention and brought further recognition to the broken beat scene. Rainer Trüby continues to be a driving force behind the immense fusion of sounds occurring within Germany.
