Ray Beadle is an Australian blues/rock singer-songwriter. He has been playing music since the early 1990s and has released several solo albums as well as collaborations with various blues and folk artists. Beadle was a vocalist and a guitarist in the Red Eye Express, one of the most successful blues/rock bands of the late 90s. He has since become a prolific solo artist, and has released five albums since 2002, including his most recent, Open Highway, which was released in 2017. His music is heavily influenced by the blues of Robert Johnson, Lead Belly, and Son House and his material often deals with issues such as relationships, identity, travel, mortality, and self-exploration. Ray Beadle has toured widely throughout Australia, Europe, Scandinavia, and the United States, and his career continues to rise.
