Rodney Atkins is an American country music artist. He made his debut in 1997 with the release of his album, Honesty, which spawned three hit singles on the Billboard Hot Country Music Chart. Since then, he has released five more albums and achieved several number one country singles. He has won a number of country music awards, including multiple CMT Music Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards, and Country Music Association Awards. Atkins is best known for his heartfelt, contemporary country songs, such as “If You’re Going Through Hell (Before the Devil Even Knows)", "Watching You" and "Take a Back Road". Throughout his career, he has toured with a number of country artists, including Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, and Toby Keith.
