About Seether
Seether is a South African rock band originally formed in 1999. The band is composed of lead vocalist and guitarist Shaun Morgan, bassist Dale Stewart, and drummer John Humphrey. Seether has released eight studio albums, and was especially popular in the 2000s with their debut single "Fine Again" which appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Their sophomore album, Disclaimer II, was released in 2004 and included their most successful single, "Remedy", which peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The majority of their discography includes hard rock and post-grunge, but the band is also known for their recreating styles, often blending them with acoustic elements.
The band has been nominated for five Grammy Awards, and has made various festival appearances and tours including being part of the Mayhem Festival in 2012. Seether has gone on to have over 5 million record sales worldwide and multi-platinum certifications in both the US and Australia
