Siouxsie Sioux is an English singer, songwriter, and musician. She first came to prominence as the lead singer of the band, the Banshees, in 1976. She released 12 studio albums with the Banhees, and has since gone on to pursue her own solo career - starting in 1991 with her debut album, 'Tinderbox'. Her music is often called 'gothic rock', and showcases her punk and post-punk influences. Her most popular songs include, 'Peek-a-Boo', 'Kiss them for Me', and 'Cities in Dust'. Siouxsie and the Banshees disbanded in 1996, but Siouxsie has continued to write music, collaborate with other artists, and perform live.
