Skrillex is an American electronic music producer best known for his dance and dubstep beats. He first gained recognition as part of the band From First to Last. Skrillex's solo career was launched with the release of his debut EP, My Name Is Skrillex. Released in 2010, it reached the top ten of the US Billboard Dance/Electronic chart. Skrillex has released seven EPs, fourteen singles, five studio albums, and various remixes. He has achieved eight Grammy Awards, including three consecutive Best Dance/Electronic Album awards from 2011 to 2013. He has also done production and remix work with superstars such as Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber. Skrillex is currently releasing music on his label OWSLA, a venture that began in 2011.
