Space Monkeys tickets

Space Monkeys are an alternative rock band that originated in Manchester, England in 1994. The group's lineup consisted of vocalist and guitarist Richard Masterson, guitarist David Blake, bassist/drummer Johnny five and drummer Ariel Murtagh. Their music is characterized by melodic bass lines and complex guitar patterns, as well as Masterson's unique vocal style. Their albums Uncertain Smile, The Daddy O, and Zoo Time featured singles that reached the UK charts, and their album A Semi-Detached Suburban Paradise was certified silver in 1998. The band toured extensively, including a successful tour of the U.S. in 1998. They released two albums in 2002, 'God Fodder' and 'The Trick With the Shotgun', the latter of which was nominated for Best Dance/Modern Rock Album by the NME Music Awards. The band disbanded in 2004, but continued to perform occasional gigs until 2007.
