About Supergrass
Formed in 1993, in Oxford, Supergrass have walked on the steps of the mighty Beatles and released their album debut on Parlophone Records. Released in 1995, the label's best selling album since The Beatles' Please Please Me. The album also came along with their most known international hit single "Alright," placing the punk-pop band on the pop map ever since their first album. Their youthful energy was transmitted across five total albums, with the last one being released in 2008 before the band splitting due to creative differences in 2009. Their music is unique and modern, taking unhip elements from musicians such as Elton John or the Rolling Stones. They still have that British pop-punk alure to their sound, yet in 2020 their music still sounds modern and up to date!
