Talpa is a Dutch electronic music duo from the Netherlands founded in 1999 by producer Tijs Verwest. The group is composed of Verwest and DJ/Producers Joram Metekohy & Ruud Van Doorn. Talpa’s works have been renamed numerous times, and the duo was previously known as Trip-Tique, Kamaya Painters, and T4L. They gained popularity in the early 2000s with their trance music production, and have since transitioned into producing within multiple genres from trance to progressive house and electro. Talpa has released music on various labels such as Ultra, Black Hole, Armada and Captivating Sounds. They are also known for remiksing other famous artists such as Armin van Buuren and Gareth Emery. Talpa has performed at major festivals like Tomorrowland, Electric Love and Heerlen Live.
