Teddy Thompson is a British singer-songwriter from London, England. He released his self-titled debut album in 2000 on Virgin Records, in the wake of his father's folk-rock success. His modern spin on folk-rock is characterized by a melodic, emotive voice and characteristic wit. He has released 9 full length albums, as well as numerous singles, collaborations and EPs. His most recent album,Heartbreaker Please, was released in 2018 on the Thirty Tigers label. He has also collaborated widely, appearing on albums by artists from Elvis Costello to Rufus Wainwright. Thompson’s music has been featured on shows such as American Idol and Grey’s Anatomy.
