About Terry Reid
Terry Reid is an English singer-songwriter and musician beloved for his powerful blues-infused rock sound. Reid began recording music in 1965 after becoming the opening act for The Rolling Stones, and eventually released his debut album, Bang, Brazy in 1968. His most successful release was his second album, Seed of Memory, which showed a more melodic singer-songwriter approach. Reid's career stalled in the 1970s, as his recording contracts expired and record companies failed to take advantage of his more commercial sound. During the 1980s and 1990s, Reid shifted focus to major performances at festivals and concert venues, as well as performing the occasional solo album. In 2006, Reid released his first album in 10 years, Phantom Words. The album was widely praised for returning to Reid's blues-rock sound. To this day, Terry Reid continues to perform concerts and festivals, allowing generations of fans to experience his immense talent.
