About The Blue Stones
The Blue Stones are a Canadian rock duo consisting of vocalist-guitarist Tarek Jafar and drummer Justin Tessier. The band's alternative blues-rock sound has been compared to the Black Keys and Led Zeppelin. They have released two full-length albums and two EPs since their debut in 2015. With innovative songwriting and powerful live performances, the band has earned praise from fans and critics alike. Their first album, Black Holes, was released in 2017 to positive reviews and hit #2 on the Canadian iTunes chart. They have since performed at large festivals such as Rockin' River, Future Forest, and WayHome, along with opening slots for the likes of The Tea Party and Billy Talent.
