About The Drums
The Drums is an American indie rock band, formed in Brooklyn in 2008. The band consists of founding member Jonathan Pierce along with Jacob Graham, Connor Hanwick, and Marc Lubran. Their debut self-titled album was released in 2010 and was praised widely for its stripped back indie-pop sound. They released Portamento in 2011 and Encyclopedia in 2014, both albums furthering their success with critics and fans alike. The Drums have toured with acts such as Interpol, The Kills, Yeasayer, and The Joy Formidable and have performed slots at major festivals including Pitchfork Music Festival, Iceland Airwaves, and Glastonbury Festival. Most recently, the Drums released their acclaimed fourth album Abysmal Thoughts, which was released in 2017.
