About The Hold Steady
The Hold Steady is an American rock band formed in Brooklyn, New York, consisting of frontman Craig Finn, bassist Galen Polivka, lead guitarist Steve Selvidge, and drummer Bobby Drake. The band’s sound is rooted in classic rock and roll, punk, and their own unique blend of story-telling lyrics. They released their debut album, Almost Killed Me, in 2004, and their most recent album, Thrashing Thru the Passion, debuted in 2019. Over the years, they have toured with big names such as The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and Ryan Adams. They have received critical acclaim from music publications, and their songs have been featured on hit television shows like Chuck and Grey's Anatomy. They remain one of the most successful independent rock bands to come out of Brooklyn.
