The Polecats are a British rockabilly band formed in 1977, comprised of guitarist Tim Worman, bassist Phil Bloomberg, drummer Chris Hawkes, and vocalist/guitarist Martin Gordon. The band gained a lot of attention during punk rock’s initial surge in the late 70s and released their debut record, The Polecats Are Go! in 1979. The record included their hit single, “Make a Circuit with Me,” which reached number five on the UK Singles Chart. They released two more studio records, 1983’s Have a Go With the Polecats and 1986’s Billion Dollar Babies. They released a total of five studio albums, as well as several live albums, compilations, and singles.
