About The View

The View is an indie rock band from Scotland, formed in 2005. The four original members consisted of Kyle Falconer, Kieren Webster, Peter Reilly and Steve Morrison. Their album 'Hats off to the Buskers' debuted at number one in the UK Albums Chart and spawned four singles, including the UK top ten hit 'Same Jeans'. Later albums such as 'Which Bitch?' and 'Cheeky for a Reason' kept up their momentum, deferring their sound from edgy indie rock to funk-tinged psychedelia. The View has achieved international success, playing gigs throughout the UK as well as appearing at a number of festivals. In recent years, the band has been focusing on touring in their native Scotland and more recently America, with their latest album 'Ropewalk' released in 2018.
