Thomas Rhett Akins Jr, known professionally as Thomas Rhett, is an American singer and songwriter from Valdosta, Georgia, who became famous in 2013 as a country-pop singer. He is the son of country singer-songwriter Rhett Akins. Rhett has had numerous hit singles, with five of them reaching the No. 1 position on the US Billboard Country Airplay chart. These include "Make Me Wanna", "Crash and Burn", "T-Shirt", "Star of the Show", and "Die a Happy Man". His latest album, Life Changes, was released in 2017 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
