Unleash the Archers is a Canadian heavy metal band founded in 2007 in Victoria, BC. Composed of singer Brittney Slayes, guitarists Grant Truesdell and Andrew Kingsley, bassist Nikki Berger, and drummer Scott Buchanan, the band has released five studio albums. Their most recent, Abyss, came out in 2020 and marked the group’s further development of power metal. Throughout their career, they have toured extensively, played major festivals, and opened for acts such as Nightwish, Blind Guardian, Delain, and Sonata Arctica. The group has also been nominated for multiple awards, and received a SiriusXM Indie Award for Hard Rock/Metal Group or Duo of the Year in 2019.
