VC Pines is a synth-pop music artist based in Brooklyn, New York. He began his career in 2016 when he released his first single, "Run", which later appeared on his debut EP, Morning Light. VC Pines followed this up with the EP Hot Blooded, which came out in 2018 and earned him attention in alternative music circles. That year he was also featured in Pitchfork's 'Rising' Series and was hailed as one of the breakout artists of the year. Along with releasing solo material, VC Pines has collaborated with artists such as Helado Negro, Tom Grennan, and Arlo Parks. His latest EP, Dark Spring, was released in 2020 to positive reviews.
