Wasia Project is an exciting music project headed by Isai De Jesus, a multi-instrumentalist who hails from the Dominican Republic. His music merges together sounds of jazz, funk, Latin and world music. He released his first album in 2004 and has since released 5 more full length albums and several EP’s. Isai has also performed at festivals such as the Montreal International Jazz Festival, the Dominican Republic Jazz Festival and the Heineken Jazz Fest. He has toured with famous musicians such as Wyclef Jean, Belo and Yerba Buena. He also performs regularly with his own band, the Wasia Project and other notable musicians. His songs and recordings are eclectic, unique and captivating and keep his audience on their toes.
