YBN Nahmir, real name Nick Simmons, is an American rapper and songwriter from Birmingham, Alabama. He rose to fame after releasing his debut single "Rubbin Off the Paint" in late 2017 which peaked at #46 on the Billboard Hot 100. He released the single independently and it quickly spread through viral shares on social media.

Since the success of "Rubbin Off the Paint", YBN Nahmir has released several mixtapes including 'The Nahmir Tape' (2018) and 'VisionLand' (2018). He's been featured on guest verses for tracks by the likes of Gucci Mane, 21 Savage, and Machine Gun Kelly.

YBN Nahmir has a loyal fan base, and is creating his own sound in the hip-hop community. He recently signed to Atlantic Records, and released his latest project, titled 'Bail Out Mixtape', in 2019.
