About Young The Giant
Young The Giant is an indie rock band that originated in Irvine, California in 2004. Formerly known as The Jakes, the group consists of members Sameer Gadhia, Jacob Tilley, Eric Cannata, Payam Doostzadeh, and Francois Comtois. Their self-titled debut album was released in October of 2010 receiving widespread success on both the indie and mainstream music scene. Their breakout single, “My Body,” rose to 10th on the US Alternative Chart and peaked at 23rd on the Billboard Top 100. The group has since released two other albums, “Mind Over Matter” and “Home Of The Strange” and multiple singles. They have made appearances on US and international TV shows and have toured and performed extensively throughout North America and Europe.
