Pinch tickets

Pinch is a dubstep producer named Rob Ellis meaning 'to grab or squeeze'. Based in Bristol, he had strong roots in UK soundsystem culture from the 80s, taking the influence of analogue production in the early 2000s.

As a founding member of 'Tectonic', a record label and night club that specialized in the likes of Dubstep, Garage and Grime, Pinch established a platform for a range of Bass musicians starting from 2006. He produced a considered selection of both experimental and darkly danceable music, all over a 12 year period, releasing albums such as 'Underwater Dancehall' and 'Late Night Endless'. His various shows, radio appearances and DJ sets, both nationally and internationally, have all contributed to the evolution of the UK Bass scene.
