Penny and Sparrow is a musical duo comprised of Kyle Jahnke and Andy Baxter. The band has been active since 2011, releasing three LP records with Full Time Hobby. In 2016, they released "Finch" with Thirty Tigers Records, described as a more personal and intimate look into their lyrics, and 2018's "Wendigo". Their music is a blend of alternative folk and Americana, weaving together lyrical complexity and gorgeous instrumentation. They are renowned for their powerful songwriting, singing, and live performances; their trademark combination of vocal harmony and thoughtful lyrics has struck a chord with audiences around the world. They have performed at festivals across the US and Europe and recently starred in a feature length documentary, Where Copper & Coal Collide.
