Anthony Hamilton is an American R&B singer-songwriter who has been active in the music industry since 1993. He is known for his soulful singing style which is strongly rooted in gospel music. He has gained critical acclaim and commercial success with a series of albums, winning two Grammy Awards after being nominated seven times. Hamilton got his big break in 1996, when he was signed to D'Angelo's label, and soon afterwards released his debut album, 'XTC'. Since then, Hamilton has released a string of albums, with his 2003 hit 'Comin' from Where I'm From' being nominated for a Grammy. His other albums include 'Soulife', 'Ain't Nobody Worryin'' and 'What I'm Feelin'', which won the Grammy for Best R&B Album in 2016.
