Heartless Bastards are an American rock band formed in 2003 in Cincinnati, Ohio. They have released five studio albums, starting with their 2006 debut "Stairs and Elevators." The band is led by Erika Wennerstrom, the vocalist and lead guitarist. Her powerful voice and their earthy, guitar-driven sound have given them a devoted fan base. In 2010, they earned a Grammy nomination for Best Recording Package for their album "The Mountain." They have toured through the US, Europe, and Australia, and have opened for big names such as The Black Keys, The White Stripes, and Band of Horses. Heartless Bastards have built their success on a unique blend of crunchy garage rock and deep-seated blues and folk.
