About Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox
Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox is a musical and theatrical collective dedicated to re-imagining modern pop songs in the style of classic jazz, swing, and ragtime. Founded in 2009 by musical director Scott Bradlee and based in Astoria, New York, the project features rotating performers from a variety of musical backgrounds. The group has become popular on YouTube, gaining recognition for their unique covers of popular songs in different musical genres.
In 2015, the group released their first album, Vintage Modern, followed by companion albums Selfies on a Stick in 2016 and PMJ and Chill in 2017. In 2015 the group performed several sold-out tours in the U.S. and Europe with guest performers including Grammy-winning vocalist Michael Feinstein and Tony-winning tap dancer Michelle Dorrance. The group has appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Ellen Show, and The Today Show.
