Strangelove is an English alternative rock band from London, UK that has been recording music since the early 1990s. It was formed in 1989 by singer/guitarist Patrick Duff, and bassist Nick Little. The members of Strangelove drew on diverse musical influences to define their sound and create a unique identity. The band released their debut album, "The Beautiful Mission" in 1993, which was well received by critics. Strangelove’s sound gradually evolved over the years, moving from an alternative rock sound to an atmospheric, synth-based pop sensibility. The band has released two studio albums, five EPs and as well as several singles. Recent solo projects from Patrick Duff, the band's frontman, have continued to draw on the Strangelove sound.
