About Chingy

Rapper Chingy is best known for his chart-topping hits from the 2000s. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and started out in 2002 under the super producer Lil Jon's Wing Records and mastered the crunk sound. His first album Jackpot spawned his best selling hit, Right Thurr. He also had success with singles such as One Call Away, Pullin' Me Back, and Dem Jeans.

As his career grew, he found more success as a feature artist on tracks like Lil Wayne's Comfortable, along with Nelly's Grillz, and Dem Franchize Boyz's Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It. In 2008, Chingy shifted his sound and tried out pop music genres with his album Hate It Or Love It.

Chingy has since released four more albums, remained active in the music scene with various mixtapes, and continues to develop his own music label, Slot-A-Lot
