Theo Croker is a talented trumpet player and composer from North Florida. Gifted with a unique, genre-defying style that has been compared to Miles Davis and Louis Armstrong, he has made a name for himself as an emerging jazz star since the release of his 2011 debut album, Afro-Diasporic hustle. Through his two subsequent studio albums (2013's The Escapist and 2016's Escape Velocity), Croker has explored traditional and electronic elements, emerging sounds, and his own African American heritage. He has performed around the world, toured with acclaimed artists such as Herbie Hancock, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and Wyclef Jean, and earned a Grammy nomination for his producing work on Terri Lyne Carrington's The Mosaic Project. His newest album, Star People Nation, was released in October 2020.
