Their lead singer and pianist is Kevin Rowland and their songs are often uniquely associated with his distinctive singing voice. The band are best known for their breakthrough 1982 single "Come On Eileen," which topped the charts in both the US and the UK. Their follow-up album, Too-Rye-Ay, also included successful singles such as "Jackie Wilson Said (I'm in Heaven When You Smile)" and "Geno". The group have had several line-up changes, and various reincarnations, over the years, but they continue to tour and make music to this day.
