About Robert Hood
Robert Hood is a techno advocate and conductor that needs little to no introduction. He is one of the founding members of the notorious Detroit group "Underground Resistance" along with Jeff Mills. With his low-key minimalistic techno character, Robert directed a type of sound that's become a nineties electronic music standard.
With the launch of M-Plan in 1994, the label served to release a grey area sound that, offered an unusual dancefloor feeling. With an emotional music philosophy, rather than something that's mainstream and aggressive, Robert has become associated with a sound that's harsh in intensity yet soft on the soul.
His artistic persona also created a new moniker. Floorplan renders disco and gospel spoiled house tracks, which are highly infections and expose Robert Hood's relationship to the pure dance floor sound.
He left his mark on the industry not only through his ongoing presence in the scene but also by mixing Fabric 39.
