Smith and Thell are a Swedish indie duo consisting of Maria Jane Smith and Swedish/English vocalist Victor Thell. Formed in Stockholm in 2013, they achieved breakthrough success with their 2014 single, “Forgive Me Friend,” which peaked at No. 8 on the Swedish Singles Chart. Other singles “Statue” and “Row” both achieved Top 20 status in Sweden. In 2016, Smith and Thell earned a Grammy Award nomination for touring the US and beyond with their EP, “Killing It,” featuring Top 20 single “Flying Blind.” In 2017 their song “Live Until I Die” was featured on the hit music show, TV4’s Så Mycket Bättre. Smith and Thell released their first full-length album, Soulprints, in the fall of 2018, which has been met with critical acclaim. The duo remains actively touring and performing across Europe
