Swervedriver is an English rock musician group, formed in Oxfordshire in 1989. The main members consisted of lead singer Adam Franklin, lead guitar player Jimmy Hartridge, bass guitar player Adi Vines and drummer Graham Bonnar. Releasing albums between their formation in 1989 to 1998, the group's sound combined elements of shoegaze, alternative rock and psychdelic rock music. Swervedriver released four studio albums, "Raise" (1991), "Mezcal Head" (1993), "Ejector Seat Reservation" (1995) and "99th Dream" (1998). They were also part of various popular music acts in the early and mid 90's, such as opening for heavy weights The Smashing Pumpkins in their 1993 world tour. The band reunited in 2008 to tour and play live shows, and in 2015 they released their first new studio album in 17 years, entitled "I Wasn't Born To Lose You" to critical acclaim.
