The Muckers is an indie rock band from Chicago, IL, that formed in 2003. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Caleb Meyer, bassist James F. Bowden and drummer Ryan Kerns. The group’s sound is characterized by fuzzy guitars, driving rhythms and an overall ethereal quality. The Muckers have released two studio albums, 'Lonesome Queen' in 2006 and 'Silver Lining' in 2008. They have also released several EPs, such as 'Love Loudly Beastly Loudly' in 2007. They have toured the U.S. extensively and have opened for acts such as The Strokes, The Libertines and British Sea Power. The Muckers’ music is likened to acts such as Sonic Youth, Pavement and Yo La Tengo.
